Age of some old Speer bullets?
Picked these up. They are 257-60-OS-SP on the end of the box. Any idea when they might have been made? Value to a collector?
Thanks

I have the same box containing .283 bullets. I called Speer and they thought he (Vernon) made them for the Ross, Lancaster, or some other rifle of the time.

Have several boxes of Speer bullets with this same packaging. They were part of inventory I purchased from a post WW2 gun shop.

Late 40's or early 50's. I have some with with this box. I also have a later model Speer box that are from the late 50's or early 60's.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.
