JJK, your case has the same markings as the 1935 Turkish 8mm I have in front of me.



Look carefully. There is even a crescent moon symbol with the 5-point star on the case head between the letters "T" and "C" (Turkiye Cumhuriyeti).



No doubt about it....... Turkish 8mm x 57!
