A friend gave me a cartridge the other day.
It is military, has on the head FNM 71-18
it appears to be 8.21mm or .323" bullet and case is about <57mm or 2.232" long
Guess it is a 8*57s
would the markings mean it was made in 1971?
also where was it made?

The FNM headstamp is for Fabrica Nacional de Municoes de Armes Ligeiras, Portugal.Made in 1971.
