<thender>300 Winchester Short Magnum....
I'm not to much on the new calibers, but I have seen some articles on the Winchester Short Magnums (WSM). But all of them are of copper cased and copper spitzer bullets, at least I think so... But the example I have is of Nickled cased with a black spitzer bullet with a painted white tip. It has a flat brass primer, and the H/S = WINCHESTER 300 WSM.
What the heck is it?

TailgunnerThe bullet is a Nosler/Winchester CT Balistic "Silver" Tip. The black is a "Lubealox" coating, and the white (light gray) tip is plastic, not paint.

The new Winchester primers are brass/copper color, as opposed to the silver color of the older ones.
Hope that helps somewhat.
