GoWyoMother load...kinda
Hi all,
I've been assisting a lady friend of mine price and sell her late husband's firearms and related items.
She just gave me his cartridge collection and a bunch of old ammo. I've got 3 pristine boxes of Western Lubaloy .45-70 ammo, a bunch of factory UMC 500 gr. cartridges in same caliber, several different boxes of .45ACP match military ammo. Different manufacturers lots, etc. She also gave me a box of what appears to be early .44 mag ammo.
She also has two Winchester bullet molds for a 40-82 and the hand held reloading press. These are antiques for sure.
Does anyone know of a website where I could research the age, value, and possible sale of these items?
Thanks,
Gary
you might try the
www.cartridgecollectors.org (in the forum). the web site also lists several collector / seller pages where values might be determined.

IconoclastThe molds and tong tool are the valuable items there, provided they are in good condition - most common flaw in the latter is a missing / broken decapping pin. If the tool is complete, depending on the model / patent date, it would be worth $60 to $300. The ammo is nice stuff, but not in the same league; most of it sounds at best like $20 - $30 a box material.
