Marco Polo Photos from Tadjikistan shot last week
Here are photos from our clients expedition for their Marco Polo and Ibex taken last week in Tadjikistan. The Marco Polo measured 56" and 59" respectively. I guess Renaud's tape did not stretch that last one inch but that's the way he is. The Ibex was 43".

Congratulations and outstanding photos.

From other photos, reports and conversations with returning hunters I guess it was a great year for both ibex and Marco Polo sheep.

Thank you for posting the photos.

Best of luck to those going over next year.

I really enjoyed watching this video. Tolibek was my guide when I was there a few years ago so it brought back some great memories. The Marco Polo is such an awesome looking sheep.

Thanks for the vid.I am not a sheep hunter but I like classic hunting combined with exotic culture/places across the pond. One thing is for sure and that is I wish I was there instead of here.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
-Seth Peterson
