ozhunterIts good to see there is still room for wild animals to wonder about in that part of the world.
Garhawal is quite mountainous as far as I'm aware.
Also looks like an old cat with its busted up teeth.

NakihunterAdam, yes Garhwal is hill country - the lower Himalayas up to around 12,000 feet or so. The two broken canines would be a major reason for the leopard becoming a maneater, as it would find it very difficult to tackle natual prey like adult pigs, sambar etc.
The rifle looks like a Lee Enfield 303 which the IOF used to make (refurbish) in the 60's before they moved to the 315.
