The USFWS has resumed issuing Marco Polo sheep import permits-a major victory for sustainable hunting and conservation!
IPHA proudly acknowledges the collaborative efforts that led to this achievement and extends special thanks to our Executive Liaison, Tammy Scott, for her instrumental role in the Tajikistan Marco Polo Sheep Management and Action Plan 2025-2035 Validation Workshop.
This success would not have been possible without the Government of Tajikistan, USFWS, Conservation Force, Grand Slam Club / Ovis and The Hunting Consortium Ltd., all of whom played critical roles in securing this outcome.

Not to belittle the efforts of those involved, the post should say "issuing SLOWLY". USFWS has not even caught up with Mongolia Argali permits.
