FRANKIE2000That is another series by the great David Attenborough. I am in the precess of watching another one of his series called Life in the Undergrowth. It is all about insects and spiders. I know that sounds kind of boring but you would be amazed at some of the things that they show and fottage that they have captured that has never been seen before. For my money anything that David Attenborough has done is well worth my time to watch because most likley I will see something that I have never seen before.

collectorGreat footage....I met a colonel from Pakistani Army who was on a visit to Washington DC. Showed me up close pics of Snow Leopards (taken from a helicopter) while he was stationed near Siachin Glacier.
I received the following picture from a friend in Pakistan who was given a tour of the personal collection of a Nawab in Pakistan from the province of Sindh. (Maharajah equivalent in India). Nawab, back during the British Raj was a keen hunter and hunted the Snow Leopards in Skardu region with the help of locals and with the blessings of the British Government.
I am not sure how old these mounts are, they are in pathetic condition. I am sure they can be redone with modern techniques by a master taxidermist and brought back to some kind of dignity. A magnificient animal like a Snow Leopard should not look like this.
