collectorCraig Boddington - Successful Suleiman Markhor Hunt In Pakistan
Craig had a fantastic two week hunt in Pakistan taking the trophy of all trophies the Suleiman Markhor.
On this hunt he also took a Blandford Urial and a Blackbuck Antelope and an Afghan Urial.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

What's good is reading articles about the not-so-average game animals. I love it and I hope Sports Afield keep up the good work.

Rich you're amazing! In 13,834 posts I would guess you would have figured out the emoticons. The presence of the eye roll icon along with me congratulating Craig on his animal should have been reasonably obvious to most that the first part was so preposterous that it was obviously tongue in cheek. Several narrow minded people on here implied on a previous thread that anyone hunting Iran or Pakistan didn't care about America or our troops. I was simply pointing out the ridiculousness of their argument.......not that that needed pointing out as it was pretty obvious........

Michael RobinsonThe best trophy that has ever come out of Pakistan was shot last week in Abbottabad by a Navy Seal.
I think even Craig would agree with that, notwithstanding his fine trophies.

Unfortunately, as for the Navy Seal's taxidermy, I heard that his full body mount was somehow lost overboard during shipment home.
Just as well, if you ask me. It was too ugly to put in a trophy room.
Mike
Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
The show, Sports Afield, aired yesterday on the Sportsman's Channel. Looks like it will repeat on Saturday at 7 a.m.
EXCELLENT show !!!!
