Game & Guns

Inspired by Zephy's comment on the Pigeons, pubs and premiun shotguns thread that I wrote, I thought it may be a fun thread for AR wingshooters to post pics and descriptions of their treasured shotguns with game taken!

Let me kick off here with my Aya 20 bore sidelock which is the No 1 gun of a pair that I purchased last year and which I really enjoy shooting whether crows or pheasant! And as you can see this particular bird was shot cleanly through the front end !!

Be fun if others post and would be an interesting reference of the AR shotgun members !

And I will follow that up with another one of a pair being No. 1 gun of a pair of 16 bore JP Sauer & Sohn that I have had for a number of years and which are just sweet to shoot! With a French partridge taken on a driven shoot day in Suffolk England some years ago!

John Blanch & Son 16ga from 1906

George Taylor 16ga from 1884 with Powell Patent lifter.

Watson Bros 12ga 3" heavy proof fowler 32" barrels. I bought it knowing the wrist had been repaired. Not very well as you see. First shot killed this drake cupping into decoys. It now wears new walnut below.

Charles Daly 16ga from 1912 made by H.A. Lindner. 28" barrels weight 5#12oz. My daily go to bird gun.
