collectorFirst Class Argentina Dove Hunt - July 2013 (Pic Heavy)
Pictures from our July Argentina trip. I will post pictures of the duck hunt in a separate thread.
Outfitter:
www.EliteHuntingUSA.comMillions of Golden-eared doves call Cordoba, Argentina home. There are no limits.
Use of 20 Gauge Beretta Semi-autos with Modified chokes is included in the package. Or you can bring your own shotguns.
Every hull and bird is picked up. Check out the dots in the sky...they are all doves flying into the roost.
Doves, doves and more doves.
This roost is couple of miles long and holds a couple of million doves.
Golden-eared Dove....quite similar to our Mourning Dove found in USA.
Mercedes vans are used to comfortably bring the guests from the airport to the lodge
Short flight over the Andes Mountains into Cordoba
Most flights originate from Miami...overnight into Buenos Aires (Argentina) or Santiago (Chile). I prefer going through Santiago (Chile) as it is less of a zoo than Buenos Aires....then a short hop over the Andes Mountains and you are in Cordoba, Argentina.
Hunting over sunflower fields.
One day we shot high incomers.
Blind is setup before you get there.
Local 20 gauge ammo is great out to 60 yards.
Ready for some pest control
20 gauge shells...made in Argentina
Golden-eared Dove....NO LIMITS
Dove retriever
Cleanup
Little break
Picazuro Pigeon....they are huge.
1,000 doves per day hat. You can do 2,000 doves per day without a problem if you really wanted to.
Warm cozy lodge to get back.
Temps were in mid-40's (it is winter in the souther hemisphere)
Fully stocked bar
Winding down
Clean bedrooms
Clean bathrooms
Staff waiting for you at the end of the hunt
Argentinian wines from Mendoza region
Keep it coming
Classically trained chef prepares all food
And desserts
Dove breasts
Appetizers
And more fantastic dishes
Great pics. That is definately on my Bucket List.

collectorThanks Tembo...we have 16 shotguns at the lodge which you cans use. You can bring your own if you want to, we will need to do paperwork ahead of time. There is absolutely no issue with bringing your own guns.
