Ranger02Remgington Versa Max
I used my new Remington Versa Max for the first this past weekend on a goose/duck hunt. I got in the AP Real Tree camo with a 26" barrel. I plan on using the gun for waterfowl and turkey hunting. It seemed to shoot well for me and crushed birds. I was using 3 1/2" BB's that were moving about 1650fps. The recoil seemed fairly soft as well.
Is anyone else shooting a Versa Max? And what is your exprience?

nubeHad a couple clients this year that shot them. One had problems jamming and the other worked great. The action seems real tight on it and I wonder with the dust you get from layout blinds is what made it jam so easily.

NoCALI'm starting my second year with my 3" black model. Last year I did great with it, some of the best shooting I've ever done. I did leave it over a couple weeks without cleaning and started having ejection problems. It was opening slowely and not cycling. Took it home and cleaned it and all was good. I kept it clean the rest of last year and had no more problems. Have not pulled the trigger yet this year.
