How is the Grouse population looking for this fall? I am supposed to go to Maine the end of this month.

From what I have heard from my friends in Michigan, it is going to be a great year. With work, moving back south, etc. I have not had a bird dog other than my labs since 2007. Just came home with a new setter puppy so I am looking forward to working her. I used to live in Cullowhee and then Hendersonville. Where do you live in NC?
