BreithHi
I might be able to help you on this.
Send me an e-mail and i we will take it from there
There are several breeders in America that raise several species of tragopans.
Contact McMurry hatchery and ask them what they think. Do a google search for the company, or search on google for tragopans and breeders.

Aspen Hill AdventuresMarkhor, I assume you are not US based.
Supposedly no one in the USA has Western Tragopan, they are the rarest of the Tragopan species. I believe there are five different species.
I'm thinking of trying one of the more common next year, Temminck's Tragopan. It is quite a beautiful bird. Got to get a proper pen built for it though.
Maybe you can find private breeders/hobbiests of Western Tragopan in India.
