nubeFavorite pic this year
I took this pictures this year at camp and thought it was a good one. The kid just turned legal age of 12 to be able to hunt ducks for his first time. His dad had a shotgun fitted perfect for him and he smacked the heck out of the ducks and geese. He had a lot of practice before he came up and he did better than most adults. The picture says it all.

NortonVery nice! Love to see the kids out....
What is your daily limit there in terms of total/mallards/hens?
Ours here is 6-4-2.

nubeThe limit is 8 ducks. 4 of which could be pintails. Hens or drake make no difference. We start out hunts Sept 1st and the ducks don't get color till the end of Sept. Most ponds are frozen by end of October and the ducks start heading south.
Tough to tell in the pic but a lot of the ducks he is holding are actually drakes. When they come in to the decoys early season you can't tell the difference.
