Trip insurance for a hunt
I am signing up for a quail hunt and wonder if anyone has ever taken out trip insurance? I never have.

Where does one go to get it? How much is it?

thanks

There are a number of companies that offer a policy of this type. Do a search and you should find them easily.

You are making a fundamental mistake initially worrying about the cost. Find a company. Look at the contract. See what it includes and excludes. Then look at the price as well as the history of the company. The cheapest policy may not be the best nor even close to it. In fact, the inexpensive policies are probably the least likely to pay.

Thanks Larry - but I'm not worried about cost - I was simply enquiring!

And would appreciate recommendations of companies others have used.

Thank you very much, larry. This will take some comparing - I really do not want medical coverage or medical evacuation - what I need is insurance against not being able to fly down because of a snowstorm or me being hospitalized or unable to travel because of illness.

I appreciate the link - it has a lot of info!
