A trial program is going to be started in Michigan in a few counties for dove hunting. I wondered if any of you other Michiganders knew any details about this?

check out http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/ There were several threads on this subject. As far as I know it is just the southern border counties that are going to be open for a short season. The bill that was signed changed the status of the dove to a game bird, but didn't specify seasons or counties.
