CrazyhorseconsultingGod loves Grey Ducks and the folks that shoot them.
Bad day to be a drake, Good day to be a hen.

Kamo GariBeware the man with a well-used single shot anything.

Thanks Norton, yes I get those "Pond Hopping".
With the drought still in full force, the ducks in this area are coming in to the stock ponds/tanks pretty good. Not a real big variety, mainly Gadwalls/Baldpates and Ringnecks. Do see a few Mallards and Pintails along with Green Wing Teal.
As it stands right now, I don't know which will come first, the end of duck season or the ponds drying up completely. Not looking forward to either one.

MikeBurkeI thought it is unethical to hunt over a waterhole.

Just kidding BTW

MikeBurkeNice hunt. I love hunting greys also, although I use a double.

NortonI thought so CHC....I think I asked you that same question before......and in NO way do I have a problem with shooting ducks out of tanks if anyone thought that was my implication.
Norton says: "Show me the way to the tanks!"

Part of the time I use the 12 gauge single shot and part of the time I use a 10 gauge SXS double.
Norton, I did not figger you meant anything. Some people do however seem to have a problem with "Pond Hoppers".

PalmerNow that looks like a fun hunt.
