Friends of Wister blind work July 28 2007. Niland CA
Thanks Steve (iluvsprig) and everyone for the help today. I wish I could have videoed all the work that was done today. I was with the blind sign crew, we removed the older worn out blind stakes and pounded in new pipe that Dave (Cafowler) cut and brought down. We then put some reflective tape on the posts to make it easier to see with a light in the dark.

Temps were decent, only 99 when we quit at 11am. These guys don't mess around, I got there at 6:34 am and these guys had already worked up a sweat. About 19 hard cores showed up to work in the heat.

Steve (iluvspring) is in this video speaking about FOW and Wister in the olden days.

Boy does that bring back memories. I use to hunt Wister a lot back in the late 60's/early 70's. My favorite blind for geese was N37.
