OrvarAny recommendations for Maine Grouse / Woodcock Guide
Hi all
Looking to book one, maybe two (second with a friend who I would invite from Europe who I owe a ton too...), 3 day sessions in the woods of Maine after Grouse & Woodcock
There are a ton of guides out there, but if anyone could recommend someone they have hunted with, and save me the issues of playing roulette... would be greatly appreciated!

Oxontriple thumbs-up for Libby's Camps.
Been going there for many years but it might be too late to book for early grouse season this year. I booked our 2012 hunt last year.
Worth a try, tho. This is a genuine North Woods camp that's been in the Libby family for over a century and attracts a civilized clientele.

twilliCoastal Maine Outfitters is a reputable outfitter. Don't overlook Michagan or Wisconsin for bird destinations also.
