NormanConquestWhen I was a kid the next-door neighbor was an Air Force Major who happened to be a dentist. He used to take me bird hunting as he was a real big-time bird hunter. He was called to Spain where some drunken Air Force officer had climbed a fence where there was a bull + stated his own Toro routine. That ended with him getting gored in the mouth by the said bull. Major Maestrelli figured that as long as he was going to be in Spain he might as well get in a bit of shooting. He got his picture in the paper beside a MOUNTAIN of birds he shot. The Air Force rushed him out of the country before the Spaniards could prosocute him.

Yup. In Argentina it is totally legal. Plus they are being shot to save crops. The doves are hammering about 35-40% of the crops annually.

JungleboyMost people don't realize the quality of wing shooting in Morocco.
We are going there in March, 2020 for 3 days of driven red legged partridge.
3-4 days of shooting, followed by a week of "regular" vacation with the wives!
Unlike the OP's article, the partridge bag limit is strictly set & enforced.
