Southern Lapwings (Pics)
Some pictures of Southern Lapwings that I took in Argentina.

They are real interesting birds, a bit noisy at times but great aerial acrobats.

They have these cool looking spurs on their wings that point forward, they look like stinger missiles on a jet fighter. You will notice them on some of the birds that are in the air.

Hahaha, please don't tell me that you are shooting our beloved TEROS !!

Indeed they are very noisy, very good when hunting at night as they give the "voice" when pigs are roaming around... Wink

Lorenzo, yes I must have shot a few hundred....all with the camera though Big Grin

No, not at all...they had a safe pass from us. We enjoyed watching them every day. Two pair had babies and they were running around all over the place.
