The Iowa/Illinois boys get their trophies!
Well I had Robert and JR for the past four days with a pretty tall order for trophy birds to take home to their taxidermist. I do love being challenged and on this one I stepped up and got the job done!

On the menu were all 5 species of seaducks, brant, and if possible black ducks...

Here are the results!

Nicely done. Seaducks for the experience...and the den are on my bucket list. I shot a grand total of one, a Harlequin, on a deer/bear hunht off Montague island. He's a pretty bird and banded and sits in the man cave.

Will do man. Another banded eider today. And an epic retrieve attempt by my Gunner on a crippled brant.
