Anyone ever hunted Fort Robinson for turkeys in the Spring ?

larryshoresWe went to Nebraska last year in the "spring" to hunt. It snowed like crazy. As i recall, it was near Atkinson. There were a hell of a lot of birds. We saw a lot of birds from Sioux Falls all the way to the hunting area.
I hope to go back this spring.

JungleboyTwilli,
We bowhunted turkeys there about 5 years ago or so, we stayed in the
old barracks/officers quarters which were surprisingly nice. Plenty of turkeys, but like most birds their numbers
can be seasonal.
Overall, a very good experience.
