Red Lodge, Montana Outfitters Info
I am looking for a reputable outfitter for waterfowl & upland hunting for Dec 12th week.

I did find an outfitter online that floats the Yellowstone river hunting both upland & waterfowl. Interesting way to hunt, any experience of such to share?

In advance, I appreciate any feedback...the good, the bad & ugly.

I lived in Red Lodge for 4 years and don't remember any bird hunting outfitters. Also, if your going Dec 12th, you better silicone up your shotgun, it will be pretty cold.

I too have spent some time hunting birds in the Red Lodge area and am not familiar with any outfitters that guide bird hunts. It's a gem of an area for pheasant..if you know the right spots!

Thanks guys for the feedback. I called several outfitters nearby to find them closed or specializing in something else. Most of the upland hunting seems to be to the north & east of the state. It looks like it will be a scout trip, as we own property up there, next time I'll be ready to hunt. In the mean time, this time I'll do Yellowstone w/ a snowmobile & try not to start an avalanche.
