I purchased a CVA Optima V2 .50 Cal Pistol Stainless Steel

It came with a scope mount but no open sights so I ordered a set of sights from CVA.com
I have put the open sights on the pistol and plan to use the Power Belt Bullets they recommend.
I plan to take it deer hunting next Muzzleloader season.
I like the quick removable breech plug and that it uses 209 primers instead of #11 percussion caps like my .54 cal TC Scout pistol.

I have taken deer with a .44mag and a .454 mag pistol and am comfortable out to 50 yards with a pistol and see no real reason to put a scope on it for this distance.

Have any of you BP hunters tried this CVA Optima V2 pistol?
I am curious about how it has performed for others.
