I took this 5x6 mulie in western KS with my White Super 91 .50 in '01.

My field photos from that hunt were rotten so the shoulder mount photo will have to do.

I'm headed to Northeastern KS with the same rifle to try for a whitetail this year.

Took this cow muss this morning with my encore 209x50 with barnes 250gr MZ and 777 magnum pellets.

Two things learned, 250gr barnes MZ was definately up the the challenge of moose, and shooting a large cow by yourself 15 miles from your truck may seem like a good idea while your doing it, but will seem questionable at best for the next several hours.

Luckily I was able to call a buddy and between the two of us and the wheelers got it all hauled out.

Great job Euge! Thats a nice bull!

How far of a shot was it? Did the T-EZ exit?

Thanks Bugle, the shot was 128 yards. The bull was quartering away hard, it entered behind the last rib & exited on the forward edge of the opposite shoulder.

I really was impressed at how far the Barnes bullet penetrated through that bull.

Nothing recent, but I shot this buck many years ago in NW Colorado with a patched round ball from a .45 cal Kentucky rifle that I built from a CVA kit.

Then I shot this Buff about 5 years ago with a 435 gr TC Maxi hunter from a .54 cal Green River Hawken that I also built.

Nice Hawken! Reminds me of the old days with a CVA Big Bore Mtn. rifle, shooting PRB and real black.

Great pix. Such a shame that PB has blocked so many of them.
