Just finished my first season with a Savage 10ML. Very impressed with the accuracy, I like using smokeless powder, and the trigger works for me.

But I do have issues with putting the primer into the slot on the face of the bolt with my fat fingers, let alone when they are cold or there is some excitment factor involved. Any suggestions for a 'primer-holder-device' that would work for the Savage 10ML? I made some up of different designs using plastic tubing but found them wanting when cold affected the plastic.

I've looked at the readily available 209 in-line primer devices and don't think they will work with the Savage.

Any suggestions?
