.22 Hornet, .32 ACP primer conversions ???
I was reading somewhere about these conversions for 209 primers using .22 Hornwet and .32 ACP pistol cases. I went to the web site and found it to be pretty interesting. Now I can't find the site again. Does anyone have a link?? These conversions are claimed to turn a 5-6 MOA inline into a 1.5-2 MOA shooter simply by changing the breech plug.

I have the .25ACP conversion and the improvement in reducing the crud ring from 777 powder is good. I would not spend the money if you expect that much accuracy improvement from just the primer change. I personally did not see much difference with mine although it shot pretty good from the start with either primer. Mine is a stainless .50 Omega. I does shoot very well with Black Mag3 powder and the conversion small rifle primer. A second benefit is the ability to carry primed .25ACP cases in your pocket which is a lot safer than carrying live 209 primers loose. Loading the primed cases is also easier than loading the 209 primer due to more to get a grip on when loading.
