Where to get supplies in San Antonio?
Hey fellas,

I'm flying into San Antonio on the 26th of this month to do a muzzleloading hunt near Vanderpool. Since powder and primers are not allowed on airplanes, can anyone give me a name and address in San Antonio for powder and caps. I need to buy a pound of GOEX 2ffg and a tin of #11 percussion caps.

I'd appreciate the help and thanks.

Powderhorn is a gunshop on southwest loop 410, just north of hy90 (90 goes west to uvalde).... i think the guys there are affiliated with a black-powder shooting range a little farther west on hy 90... they're good people to deal with...

I've always called the Hi-Line the Big Lonesome. You can see yesterday and tomorrow while standing in the same spot. Yep, it ain't bad, no siree, not bad at all.

The older I get, the harder I find it to focus on wonder of it all when it's -6F or -35F on the Hi-Line with a Cut Bank zephyer sustained at 30 mph. Gonna git some gud BBQ and Mexican food. If if I kill a deer or a pig, it will be a bonus!
