Red C.Sudden loss of accuracy in 45 cal Traditions.
I have a Traditions .45 cal muzzle loader. I got it out to start getting ready for fall deer season. It shot some extremely tight groups and then all of a sudden, they were all over the place. I can't get anything to shoot a tight group now. I have a cheap Bass Pro scope on it and I suspect the innards are coming loose. What do you think?
Oh, I've cleaned it well. The barrel looks great and it still shoots erratically. What do you think, scope?

MarkHow does the target look, are the holes all over the place or is there a trend in a particular direction?
Does it have sights? Maybe remove the scope and shoot half a dozen rounds at a 40 yd target with just the sights, that would confirm the scope unless you have an extra laying around to swap over.
Lastly, my all guns started shooting much better after I switched to decaf, for some strange reason......

1115Remove the scope and shoot with the iron sights. That should answer the question quickly.
