The post by Bill Smith reminded me about the Variflame Adapter that my friend swears by.

I did a quick search, but didn't find any recent posts.

Has anyone used this setup? If so, what do you think?

i have used a similar set up, mine didn't come from cabelas. what it does, it allows you more choices to tune the primer strength to the the load you want to use. it also allows me to use the primers i normally have as opposed to stocking 209 size primers also. it doesn't matter to some people and to others it gives them another variable they can test.
