You can use a lubed felt wad under them(I do), but its not necessary.

Just lube and shoot them. They work with or without a wad under the bullet. They are really potent and will get the job done.

Thanks guys. I’m shooting them out of TC High Plains and they feel a little loose. They shoot fine but I’m a little nervous walking around with one...

You could try a paper patch, it would tighten them up for sure.
