Steve, If you are shopping for rocklocks have a look at the consignment guns at Track of the Wolf http://www.trackofthewolf.com If they do not have precisely what you are looking for on the rack I'll wager that the very friendly TOTF staff can direct you to a skilled gunstocker. As to bore size I'd give some thought to a .54 before making up my mind. Good hunting! McB

Wrongtarget,

Thanks for the feedback. Where would you look for the semi-custom flinters? Who builds them that you'd recommend? I love the stock shape of the Blue Ridge, could it be used as the basis for a gun to later be tuned? Or is the lock size and inletting different enough that it'd end up kind of screwy?

Thanks,

Steve

McB. You have that wright about Track of the wolf. I have always had good, or I should say great experiances with that company. If for some stupid reason or a legitamint problem, they will bend over backwards to satisfie you. You can deal with them with confidents.
