I'm finally a three season hunter.Bought a Knight D.E. SS in 50 cal.Now any of you have a favorite load or some advise on where to start my loading. I'm thinking Horn. 250 gr SST for my whitetail hunting this fall. Do primers make any difference? Thanks

conchoHi In my openion Federal primers, triple 7 3f Powder 100 grains ! Now when shooting in your rifle ! put paper in front of your rifle on the ground 10 ft , and fire till paper has burnt holes starting with 100 grains , move up 10 grains till accuracy depletes or paper burns! don't start fires in forest because some ass hole wrote this rifle will shoot 150 grains of ?????

700 nitroare we in the 18th century with these wives tales of wights sheet are we the friking cluclucks clan.....i have heard such baloney since i read mobey dick when i was 5.
sorry for the moodieness but the wives talks of black powder really bug me.
buddy for hunting start at 100 grains and work up from there. i persoanlly owen a disk extream and i use 3 triple seven pellets 50 grs each and a 300 grain sst 1" groups at 100 yards all day long.
