Pedersoli .54
Guys,

I've got a Pedersoli .54 with a 32" barrel and buckhorn sights. Got it from Cabela's about 20 years ago. Beautiful wood on the gun, and I haven't really ever hunted with it.

Anyone shooting a similar .54 these days? I'm looking for what to shoot out of it, loads, etc.

Thanks,

Steve

Forgot to mention that one nice feature is the very slick double set trigger. Breaks around 1.5 pounds or less.

I run a Lyman GPR flintlock in .54. I use a .530 ball, 0.010 Wonderlube patch, and 90 grains of 3f.

Hi 375 Ruger.

What kind of twist rate has it got in the bore. That is going to be the biggest factor that determines what you shoot.
