Staley KeckSpring Break Javelina
We just got back for our annual javelina hunt to the Big Bend of Texas. New this year was my muzzleloader on a couple of stalks we made.
I was fortunate enough to make a harvest the last morning of the hunt at about 60 yards with a 250 grain hornady sabot and 2 pellets of 777. As always we had a great time enjoying the beauty of the desert southwest!

simangusGood job. That is a nice looking javelina and the scenery looks fantastic. Is that a straight 4X Leupold on your muzzleloader? Very practical choice for optics. Thanks for sharing. This thread has been a little slow lately and needed some fresh-spilled blood to liven things up.

Staley KeckThanks Simangus! Yes thats an old "purple" fixed 4X Leupold that has made several hunts from an elder family member, I had to have it and carry on the tradition with it, all dings, dents, and scratches.
Thanks again
