A bit of luck was involved in the shot. But everything was perfect, except for the range, which was lasered at 163. The bull was standing, broadside, no obstacles and I had a good, solid rest. I had been practicing at 125 yards with this exact load and rested position. The light was perfect and the shot went right through the heart. If anything would of been different, I would of probably passed on the shot.
I don't know what this bull weighed, but if it was less than 850, I'd be surprised.
