Paul Franklinknight revolution
Went looking for something completely different, and I stumbled on a new stainless and black composite Knight Revolution .50 caliber for $250. This puts it within 50 bucks of what I was originally looking for, which was the New England Firerams (aka H and R ) Huntsman. Should I go for the Knight at that price? Is there anything really bad about the Knight, like hard to clean, hard to find primer jackets, etc? I am looking for a reliable, easy to use and easy to maintain plinker/occassional deer gun.
thanks,
paul

bowhuntrrlThe Knight has a Green Mountain barrel which is known for accuracy. The action is a bit funky for my tastes, but it should be a fairly good gun. If it is a first year Revolution, I would stay away from it, they had some deficiencies. Knight corrected them on the following year. Knight really stands behind their warranty so either way, you wouldn't go too far wrong.
