KNIGHT RIFLES HAS NEW OWNERSHIP
PI. Inc. recently aquired the Knight Rifles brand, including intellectual properties and real estate in Centerville Iowa say an arcticle in SHOT BUISNESS dated June/July 2010. It say the company will be reloacated to Athens Tenn. where the new owner is headquartered. PI president Jeff Beene stated that he hopes to make this a seamless transition. The article also says that warranties for all rifles except the KPI and Revolution will be handled in the Knight Rifles warranty center in Centerville, Iowa. The KPI and Revolution will be serviced from the Pradco Outdoor Brands Alabama facility.....Certainly good news for the Knight brand and all of us!

DoublessThis is going to sound all wrong, but I really don't care... Tony Knight ran out of business the finest in line muzzleloading company in existence. I couldn't care less whether this company rises from the ashes or not.

larrysI think what kept me away was buying a sabot for the bullet (no big deal) and having to buy one for the primer...lame.

Les StaleyI for one, am happy about the revival of Knight..I was glad to be able to pick up several nice examples of their rifles in the interem, very cheaply priced.. and they all shoot better than I can. I'ts good to know they'll be supported by some customer service.. Les

WesternmassmanRegarding the 209 primer holder, a little bore butter on the primer before seating the primer allows for many reuses of the holder. I wouldn't use this for hunting, but its great at the range. I just use a punch to remove the spent primer, regrease, press in the primer and I am ready to go.
I had high hopes for the KP1 but they need a new barrel supplier.

ted thornI love my disc elite!!!
As far as you nay-sayers, the red disc make loading a primer with gloves on WAY better than a 209 with no disk. Not to mention you can put a couple in your pocket and actually find them!!! They are a great idea and make for a water proof seal.
As far as the company is concerned....just for jobs, it's great. But the old dog is dead.
Competition is good for us hunter. Seems TC is moving away from stainless steel barrels.

Jeff SullivanI have been shooting a Knight "original" Disc rifle for years and killed my largest deer to date with it, but I received my NULA 209 last week and probably won't ever take the Knight out of the safe again. GO SMOKELESS!!!
