MN HunterHornady FBP's
I was looking around on the Hornady website last night and came across their FBP's for muzzleloading and I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what that they thought of them?
http://www.hornady.com/store/50-Cal-300-gr-FPB/ How do they shoot?
How do they preform on game?

Mark GThey look pretty interesting to me, I like the concept and the size. As soon as I run through my last box of 300gr Hornady XTP's I will be giving the FBP's a try.

Johnp034Used them in my Knight with BlackHorn 209, it really liked them. Awesome accuracy & power. Tried them in my Encore, it wouldn't stabilize them, they would keyhole for some reason. Thor also makes a very similar bullet. If you e-mail them, they will send you a free sample package with 3-4 different sizes to see which fits your barrel. They send a .501 thru .504 I believe. They shoot pretty good.

MN HunterThanks Johnp034
I am shooting a Knight so I am glad to hear that they shot well in yours.
Also thanks for the thorbullets tip. I will check them out as well.
Which one shot better in your Knight?
Do you have any terminal performance info?

Johnp034Never tried to size them in my Knight. Just shot the off the shelfers. Sized my Encore, but it didn't make a difference, it just wouldn't shoot them.
