Please forgive the question, but I am a complete newbie to the art of muzzle loader hunting. I drew a great new mexico ML tag - looking to set up a new rifle.

I have a T/C encore. What can you recommend for a scope mount? Is there one that has a peep sight below the mount?

For my Omega I was using Wilson peep sight from Midway

It worked well enough, but now I am going to use a scope.

Jack, I don't know of a peep-scope combo. But I do have a Lyman 57 that I modified to fit an Encore barrel for a Colorado hunt. Lots of adjustment and I made extra side plates for custom calibration marks in elevation. I'll loan it to you if you need it, but would like to have it back encase I go again. And I still have the original base that fits my old Hawken.

You can get teh peep rib from EABCO.com I have been meaning to get one for my encore because you can't use a scope in muzzle loader only areas or hunts in alaska. I have been using a williams peep and have no complaints.
