I recently found two black on blue Savage ML II rifles locally. Both are pre-Accutrigger so they are flat rear bridge with the old style trigger. They are NIB but old stock and have a light surface rust over a large portion of them. The guy is asking $439 for them but I feel like he probably has them marked up 30%. I feel like I can offer 10% over what I'm guessing dealer was and offer $375.

Does this seem reasonable since I'm guessing he has had them more than half a decade?

The new ones are still hard to come by at times, it depends on when and if savage makes more runs. It certainly would mot hurt to start at 375, all he can do is say no

To me it would depend on the rust. Yes they are still functioning guns but if there is any sort of pitting I think your price is not unrealistic.
