RMillerHow about a 275 grain bullet at 3100 fps?
http://www.badbullmuzzleloaders.com/index.php?page=uteNot your everyday muzzle loader to say the least.

Tyler KempSeems a bit overpriced, isn't a Savage the same concept?
Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!
Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

RMillerI dont recall seeing 140 grains of 4350 behind a 275 grain bullet on the savage website. Maybe I should look again.
I just looked again and Savage lists 2300 fps compared to the bulls 3100 with a 275 gr or 3150 with a 200 grain bullet.

Tyler KempJust saying isn't it the same concept? They're using a Steven's action on one gun, and I'm sure the pressures are much higher than Savage's loads which are quite conservative.
How come that Bull muzzleloader only gains 50 fps while dropping 75 grains in bullet weight?

RMillerI think the smaller bullet uses a sabot.
It uses federal 215 primers.
