Rem 700 ML Bullet help
I just picked up a Remington 700 ML. I have the 209 conversion kit on the way. Its practically brand new condition.

Just curious what sabots you that have them have had good luck with. I have a bunch of Nosler but they were way too tight in my CVA so I shot the Barnes T-EZ in it. Not opposed to the Barnes, taken a few Elk with them and performance was good. Just exploring options that fit good in the Remington Barrels. I haven't looked at the date of manufacturer yet but it has the #11 cap system currently. I like Blackhorn so 209 is a must.

Thanks

I use the Hornady sabot/SST bullet 250gr. with 777 powder.
Only used for deer and never needed more. Accurate.

I use the Remington ones I brought with the gun.

The bore is tight- you need to run a moist patch down the bore after a shot to reload with either black or 777 pellets.

More accurate than I am with the iron peep sight, I’d be comfortable past 200 with it on deer.

With any muzzleloader, even w/ 777 and the like I’ll always run a damp patch of Balistol/water down the bore following w/ a dry patch. Keeps the fouling consistent and you can shoot all day doing so.

Shoot straight, shoot often.
