PalmerCan anyone ID this rifle?
I bought this rifle about 25 yrs ago in a gunshop. It was new at the time. All I remember is being told that the rifle was made by someone in Texas.
The only markings on it are "50 cal"
.
Although I never hunted with it back then I am interested in doing so now. I mainly want to know a little about it and whether parts would still be available.
ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS
Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Mad DogNot sure, but I think it was made by mowrey gun works, in Waldron IN. I could be wrong on this, but that rifle was pretty popular back in the 70s-80s.
