Thank you Mr. Wakeman. I have been pondering buying one of the Savage ML's. With the above article I had put it off and had just about come to the reluctant conclusion of buying a new Encore. Reluctant not because of the quality of the Encore but because it can not use smokeless powder. Your posts have put a whole new light on this controversy and I will now get my Saveage.
