I find it a hoot that it’s claimed I was “bolstering” Trump. Actually, I was just pushing Mike’s buttons a bit.
I never compared Trump to Eisenhower (or as TDS people here tend to do: Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin or Satan). But, I was apparently too subtly poking fun (over the head of most) that calling Trump “Hitler” (or whatever the MSM dictates as the day’s word choice) makes no more sense than Trump’s musings of self-claimed titles for acting decisively as CIC of the American military in a war action. In other words, I feel that using words in a totally inappropriate historical context in a hyperbole of hate is really no more justified than so doing in inappropriate self-praise and just muddles issues and convinces no one of anything. Both Ways..
I think a lot of us here, me included, should exercise the difference in “self-righteousness” and “righteousness”.
We don’t do so well at that.

In this thread, you think stolen valor is a thing. It is not. That battle was fought and lost thanks to the 1st Amendment.
This discussion about Trump is purely subjective. If anyone thinks he is a war hero like some, so be it. They are fools.
JudgeG asked that specific question to bolster Trump. When called out on it. You erroneously came to the defense.
Trump thanks you for your support.
