Historically Fascism always ends the hard/ugly way. Does anyone see a soft landing? MAGA and all the apologists said they believed the country was on the wrong path and voted for this as a correction. I figure most are getting angst for two reasons. One, some recognize the mistake, and two, some want it to move faster.

Remember, about half the country didn't want this and voted against it. The other half cut it loose.

If history is a clue, it's just a matter of time and damage. I suppose it could work out differently this time. How would that look and be? I can't imagine, but I never thought it would get as bad as it is already.

BTW, I've been harping the warning for a long time, and got scolded by the apologists herein.

Some herein are foolish enough to think a solution is for the Left to get moderate, and offer more appealing candidates.

Their propaganda machine, the ministry of truth and enlightenment, convinced them the Left is evil vermin already, Marxists, communists, socialists, queers, etc.

The fools who blame the left never mention or consider calling their hijacked party's "truth" ministry what it is and the damage it causes.

MAGA, the cult of Dear Leader is not ready for a Vance substitute.

I have studied cults a little bit, not enough to really say much with credibility, but I can't think of any who passed the baton to a different leader. That's one prime factor that makes them a cult.

The thing is the followers will still be sickos, just loose cannons, still unhinged looking for harbor. Fox may be able to remanufacture the fantasy.

This theory may provide the opening for the Dems.

It's the best soft landing I can conjure.

At least it breaks the fascist cult momentum before it gets full blown, but hopefully it wakes up even the most uninformed, and maybe others more hard core.
